I have the source of a program (taken from cvs/svn/git/) and I'd like to build a Debian/Ubuntu package for it. The package is present in the repositories, but: It is an older version (lacking hydro/Installation/Ubuntu - ROS Wiki Ubuntu install of ROS Hydro. We are building Debian packages for several Ubuntu platforms, listed below. These packages are more efficient than source-based builds and are our preferred installation method for Ubuntu.
